My name is James Montgomery and I am the Managing Principal Broker with HomeSmart Realty Group. I have been a licensed Oregon Real Estate Broker since 2006, and am a continuous member of both the Willamette Valley Multiple Listing Service (W.V.M.L.S.) and the Regional Multiple Listing Service (R.M.L.S.). I have been an active member of the Salem Association of Realtors (S.A.R) and also an accredited ABR agent since 2007. I have taken the next step to understand the building features of a "green built" home with enthusiasm, by completing the Earth Advantage Sustainability Training for Accredited Real Estate (S.T.A.R) program. It has been my great pleasure to serve the both home buyers & sellers of the Willamette Valley in Benton, Linn, Lane, Marion, Polk, Yamhill and Washington Counties for more than twelve years.
My wife and I relocated from Southern California to raise our family here in Salem 13 years ago). We have been married 20 years and enjoy watching our children grow up here in the Northwest. My girls, Erin & Maggie, attend St. Joseph School, where we are active members of the church. They both love taking their dance lessons, and perform at Ballet Arts NW.
As an active member of Mid Valley Association of Realtors, I have worked hard to protect the interest of the home ownership by safeguarding their interests, negotiating prices, arranging financing, and managing transactions to a successful closing. It has truly been a pleasure to work with the local Real Estate Professionals in the area. In doing so, I’ve have learned a great deal about our local housing markets. I am confident that I can help both Home Buyers and Sellers continue to build wealth in the greater Willamette Valley.
